Have to say, I enjoyed it a lot with me friend Yichuan, the one who is also in the pics with me.

The nicest people making us felt like home..  And the new friends we have made.. of course the local food we had...

It was a late August break, with me mum I flew to these two South-Eastern countries for a few days.

Prior to the flight, I had rang up Kezheng in Singapore and Yeepin in malaysia telling them about my trip, they both were so willing to give up their time to meet me & mum.  I was certainly looking forward to seeing my friends back in their own states. 

 

We arrived in the very morning on the 25th,Aug.  It was so nice and exciting to see Kez at the arrivals, especially when I had a tiring and dull fight for nearly 4 hrs.  He took us to the hotel, telling me all the things about the famous buildings and sites along the way to the city centre.  Kezheng knows me really well, guess what?   just put down the luggages, he took me straight to a food street sort of thing near the Newton Circus (equivalent to Oxford Street in london) where I enjoyed the carrot cake with fired egg and seafood fried noodles.  They were so so mouth-watering, a little bit spicy among the freshly cooked seafood and noodles. Together with a cold green lime drink, the whole mouth was greatly satisfied with these South-eastern delicacies.  Suprisingly, I wasn't even too sleepy at about 3 am in the morning! We then went on the see the lonely Lion-fish Statue and the city sceneries.  The sites were pretty but the warm welcome given by my buddy was even more noticeable, he wa going to have a meeting with him manage in the morning, but he was stil driving around for us til 5 am with plenty of coffee's help.  I am absolutely grateful for his hospitality, he is such a good man!

 

After a very brief 3-hrs sleep in the hotel, we were back with the tourists group for more places in Singapore.  a lot of places were seen by me last nite with Kezheng, with the guide's words introducing them, i felt kind of familiar already.

 

 

World Cup 2006 ended with the game between Italy and France, very fortunately, France made it all the way to the final; However unfortunately, we lost in penalty shoot out to the Italian.  Indeed, football is a kind of game that we can not forsee its results.

 

After that, I began to learn a little bit of French, started with A,B,C. 

 

And the course finished 3 days ago.  The best thing so far is I had some chances and good time with my old school friends, very nice to meet so many of the rocking people!!

 

Now I think I am ready to go out and travel around.  See if I can bring you some nice photos back.
